Full Moon in Taurus Themes
By Molly Hall, About.com

This year's Taurus Full Moon is on November 2/3, depending on your time zone. For East Coasters, it's Monday, November 2nd at 2:14 pm or 11:14 am Pacific time.

Other names for the November Full Moon: In earlier times, this was when the traps were set before rivers and lakes froze, leading the name Full Beaver Moon. According to the Farmer's Almanac, this signified the season of creating winter coats out of pelts. And also symbolic of the busy beaver preparing for winter. It's also known as the Frosty Moon. In some Wiccan traditions, it's Mourning Moon.

When the Moon is full in Taurus, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Scorpio.

Taurus is a fixed sign, making it about consolidating, entrenching, committing to one thing and firming up. Taurus is an earth sign, with an emphasis on natural rhythms, building, sensuality and creating wealth.

Full Moon in Taurus: drawing on inner wealth, amassing resources, creature comforts, artful voice, handicrafts, animal sensuality, fertility, relaxation, slow productivity, beauty, Mother Nature, the exaltation of the feminine.

This Full Moon illuminates: the skills and resources that nurture your talents; areas that could use a stronger foundation; the joy of sinking in where you are; steps to stability; a path to diligent creativity; your tenacious spirit; body pleasures; the cozy comforts of home.

It's a Good Time to: bloom where planted; take stock of your finances; look at different ways of generating income; assess what has value; commit to your art or craft; allow yourself to move at a slower pace; revel in the sights, sounds and smells of nature; consolidate your resources; add a pleasing texture to your bedroom; be voluptuous; take a slow amble around; plant a tree; make a good investment; acquire land or real estate; stock up on your favorite foods; prepare your home for winter; fill your home with exquisite smells; prepare a mouthwatering meal and share it; keep it simple.

Do things that remind you that "Life is Good."
